Ten years ago, we created our very first bag: the Unbegun shopper. Now, this classic is back – reinvented. Bigger, stronger, and more versatile than ever.
Whether you’re grocery shopping, heading to the beach, or planning a picnic in the park – this shopper is ready for it all.
The bag is incredibly durable and easy to clean. It’s made from leftover truck tarp material. When manufacturing truck tarps, there are always offcuts left behind. Too good to waste – so we give this beautiful material a new purpose. As a sustainable shopper, it finally gets to see the light of day.
Zippable Inside Pocket
Keep your valuables safe in the closable inside pocket, equipped with a water-repellent zipper. Next to the pocket is a ring to attach your keys.
Long and Short Handles
The shopper features both short and long handles. Convenient – so you can carry it comfortably over your shoulder or firmly in your hand without it dragging on the ground.
Available in Various Colours
The renewed shopper comes in a range of colours. Love bold tones? Then the blue and dark green versions are a perfect match.
Curious how we do it?
The Unbegun shopper is proudly handcrafted and entirely locally sourced. The residual materials are cut to size using patterns. If necessary, they are still washed and redone by hand. One of Unbegun's seamstresses is Maartje. The former theater costume designer has been making bags for Unbegun for a number of years from her workspace just outside the city.
