Deadstock with potential
At Unbegun, we give all kinds of materials a second life. From flags and banners to old trailer tarps. Thanks to our collaboration with OBEY, we've now added clothing to that list.
For this collaboration, we designed a unique collection of bags made from OBEY's deadstock jackets. Almost every part of the original jacket has been given a new purpose, including the zippers, labels and pockets.
All designed and handmade in Amsterdam.
From OBEY jacket to unique bag
For our collaboration with OBEY, we're giving deadstock jackets a completely new life. Each jacket is carefully taken apart, after which the individual pieces are cut to size using patterns. Our seamstresses then transform these materials into unique bags, preserving as many original details of the jackets as possible.
From the initial design to the final stitch, everything is made locally and by hand in Amsterdam.
