UNBEGUN and Boedelbak have joined forces and are introducing a product line of used trailer tarps. After years of loyal service, we give the iconic blue and yellow tarps a new purpose.
FROM TRAILER TARP TO LAPTOP CASE OR BAG
For years the trailer tarps of Boedelbak protected properties of many Dutch people. They have traveled town and country. They have weathered storms. After years of loyal service, we give these materials a new purpose. Together with Boedelbak we turn the old tarps into bags and laptop sleeves.

FOR THE NEXT GENERATIONS
Through the collab between Boedelbak and UNBEGUN, at least 2500 trailer tarps are recycled into new products. Depending on the type of product, 10 to 15 products can be made from one trailer tarp. UNBEGUN cuts the tarps to size with patterns. The cut parts are washed and then processed into a bag or laptop sleeve.
Yellow + Blue = Green
With our collaboration with Boedelbak we keep a total of 30,000 kilograms of tarpaulin out of the incinerators and we save 61,800 kilograms of CO2 equivalents.
To give you an idea: This amount of CO2 is equivalent to the consumption of 18,945 liters of new diesel (B7). This allows an average truck (using 35 liters per 100 km) to circle the earth. After this trip, it’s still possible to drive from Amsterdam to Mongolia and back.
You can imagine that we’re very proud of this.
