Dutch company Eurostretch makes festival tents. After the cutting process, they’re left with lots of fabric scraps. Gorgeous waste material, which we’re able to put to very good use here at UNBEGUN. Have a look.

Meet Eurostretch

A successful event or festival starts with a sturdy stretch tent. And where many stretch tents are produced abroad, Eurostretch makes them right here in The Netherlands. Locally, with love. You don’t just see the quality, you feel it, too. Largely because of the material, which Eurostretch produces themselves.

Untapped potential

African, that’s the name Eurostretch gave their tent cloth. The ‘African’ fabric is easy to clean, water-resistant and has a handsome matte finish. That makes it perfect for festival tents, but if you keep an open mind, you’ll quickly find this material has plenty of other potential. A real shame if any of it were to end up discarded on the factory floor. Sadly, that’s often exactly what happens.

From tent cloth to bag

The total annual cutting loss of Eurostretch amounts to 3,885 kg. By giving this material new life, Eurostretch and UNBEGUN save 9,750 kg of CO2. This is equivalent to the annual CO2 emissions of a resident of the Netherlands or 20 return flights by plane to Munich. We are proud of our special collection with Eurostretch. But even more so on the amount of CO2 we save with it.
