A new chapter for the Amsterdam 750 flags

For a full year, the flags coloured the city during the celebration of Amsterdam’s 750th birthday. You could spot them everywhere: along the canals, at events, and in the neighbourhoods. Now that the anniversary celebration is over, the flags have completed their first job. Transformed into one-of-a-kind pouches, they are ready for a new chapter — so the spirit of Amsterdam 750 lives on, literally in your hands.

From flag to pouch

Event flags are often thrown away afterwards. A waste — and Amsterdam 750 thought so too. That’s why we were given the opportunity to turn them into a special collection of products, including this roomy pouch. Thanks to the recognisable colours and striking graphic patterns, each piece stands out just like the city itself. And because every flag is different, no two pouches are ever the same.

This pouch offers more space than the compact version. Perfect for pens and pencils — but also for chargers, cables, AirPods and other everyday essentials you don’t want to lose in your bag. The inside is lined with a sand-coloured fabric made from offcuts of festival tents. Combined with the Amsterdam 750 flag material on the outside, it creates a durable pouch built to handle everyday use. The D-ring allows you to easily attach it to a hook, a carabiner or the inside of your bag. A high-quality black zipper and a stylish puller keep everything securely in place, wherever you go.

Amsterdam’s birthday

Amsterdam celebrated its 750th birthday for an entire year — a jubilee full of stories, neighbourhood initiatives and major events. The celebration has ended, but the memories remain: a remarkable year that honoured the city’s history and looked ahead to its future.
