PERFECT IMPERFECTIONS

The covers arrive at Unbegun after five years of excellent market service. Every piece is treated differently – every cover is, after all, unique. When clean and shiny, they’re carefully cut according to size, shape and story. And because we do this all by hand, each laptop case retains its quirks. The sleeves in the photos are meant to give you an indication, but each sleeve is one-of-a-kind and has it’s own story, color stripes and perfect imperfections.

THE CASE

The Unbegun laptop case comes in multiple sizes and is sleekly designed to snugly hold the new MacBook Air 15 inch M5, the 16 inch MacBook Pro, the 14 inch MacBook Pro M5, the 13 inch MacBook Pro and Air and the Surface Pro laptops. The outside layer is made out of the old market stall covers that used to line the streets of Amsterdam. The durable material is sturdy, water-repellent and one-of-a-kind. The case is lined with foam and limestone neoprene for a cushioning effect, to ensure your laptop stays in one piece and free from scratches.

It is possible to use the case inside another bag for easy carrying or on it’s own for on-site use. The Unbegun laptop case is made with great care and attention to detail. It can be perfectly used for both business and leisure. All our cases are handmade in Amsterdam and come in multiple colorways.

From Amsterdam market tarps to laptop sleeve

The outside of this laptop sleeve is made from retired Amsterdam market tarps. For years, these tarps protected market vendors from wind and rain. Now, transformed into a durable laptop sleeve, they provide the ultimate protection for your laptop.

Sustainable protection

The sleeve features an extra shock-absorbing layer made from recycled foam. Offcuts from the production of cushions and mattresses are given a second life while protecting your laptop.
