For years, the Amsterdam market stall covers have protected merchants from the Dutch elements. Now, after they’ve been transformed into vegan laptop sleeves, they provide the ultimate protection for your laptop.
PERFECT IMPERFECTIONS
The covers arrive at UNBEGUN after five years of excellent market service. Every piece is treated differently – every cover is, after all, unique. When clean and shiny, they’re carefully cut according to size, shape and story. And because we do this all by hand, each laptop case retains its quirks. The sleeves in the photos are meant to give you an indication, but each sleeve is one-of-a-kind and has it’s own story, color stripes and perfect imperfections.
THE CASE
The UNBEGUN laptop case comes in two sizes and is sleekly designed to snugly hold multiple 15 inch laptops, the new MacBook Air 15 inch M2/M3, the 16 inch MacBook Pro, the new 13 inch MacBook Pro and Air and the Surface Pro laptops. The outside layer is made out of the old market stall covers that used to line the streets of Amsterdam. The durable material is sturdy, water-repellent and one-of-a-kind. The case is lined with foam and limestone neoprene for a cushioning effect, to ensure your laptop stays in one piece and free from scratches.
It is possible to use the case inside another bag for easy carrying or on it’s own for on-site use. The UNBEGUN laptop case is made with great care and attention to detail. It can be perfectly used for both business and leisure. All our cases are handmade in Amsterdam and come in multiple colorways.

Needless to say, we love Amsterdam markets – it’s where we get our materials from. Amsterdam is riddled with a variety of cool markets and they’re great places to spend lazy mornings hunting for that vintage jacket, local cheeses, the best fresh pesto and second-hand books.
