Description

They have braved the wind and weather. They have traveled the country and the city. Then they were discarded. A shame, so at Unbegun we are giving away the old trailer tarpaulins from Boedelbak a second life. After the transformation into a sustainable sleeve, they now provide the ultimate protection for your iPad.

The sleekly designed iPad case by Unbegun is available in different sizes and is designed for the iPad, the iPad Air M4, iPad Mini and the new iPad Pro 11 inch and 12.9 inch/13 inch M4. The exterior is made of the iconic yellow-blue tarps of Boedelbak. The material is strong, sturdy and water-repellent.

The iPad sleeve is lined with cushioning recycled foam. This layer ensures that your iPad can withstand a knock and is resistant to scratches. The sleeve is lined with a soft fabric made from recycled plastic (PET) and can be closed with a high-quality zipper. The zipper is equipped with a handy zipper puller, so that you can quickly reach your iPad. The cover is suitable for an iPad with iPad Pencil.

All Unbegun products are 100% handmade. And locally produced, in Amsterdam. With attention and eye for detail.

From Boedelbak trailer tarp to iPad sleeve

The outside of this iPad sleeve is made from retired Boedelbak trailer tarps. These tarps have endured years of wind and rain and travelled countless miles before being discarded. We thought that was a waste, so we gave them a second life. Transformed into a durable tablet sleeve, they now provide the ultimate protection for your iPad.

Sustainable protection

The sleeve features an extra shock-absorbing layer made from recycled foam. Offcuts from the production of cushions and mattresses are given a second life while protecting your iPad.

We create products from materials with a story. In a world full of discarded materials, there is more than enough to upcycle. Materials that have withstood the elements, or never even had the chance to do so. We transform these leftover materials into unique bags and laptop sleeves, each with its own character.
