Every Unbegun bag is handmade in the Netherlands — in small batches, with attention to detail and respect for the material. Each design remains personal, giving every piece of leftover fabric a new life.
Curious how our bags are made?
Our bags are proudly handmade and locally produced. The reclaimed materials are precisely cut using patterns, then cleaned and finished by hand when needed. One of Unbegun’s seamstresses is Maartje — a former theatre costume designer who has been creating bags for Unbegun for over ten years from her studio.
