A sustainable sleeve for your iPad

Our tarps kept people and goods dry for years. Our tent cloths ended up on the factory floor like leftovers. They both get a new life as a sustainable sleeve. From now on, they protect your iPad against scratches and bumps.

The sleek iPad case from UNBEGUN comes in a variety of sizes and is designed for the iPad with A16-chip, iPad Air M3, iPad Mini and the iPad Pro 11 inches and 12.9 inches/13 inch M4. The sleeve is one-of-a-kind and made of super-sturdy, water-repellent residual material. The iPad sleeve is lined with cushioning recycled foam material. This foam layer ensures that your iPad can take a beating and is resistant to scratches. The sleeve can be closed completely by means of a qualitative zipper at the top. The unique zipper tractors complete the whole.

All durable iPad sleeves are handmade in Amsterdam and are available in multiple colors.

Made from materials with a story

The iPad sleeves are made from materials with a story. This could be the tarp from a Boedelbak trailer or fabric from a market stall. After being transformed into a durable sleeve, they’re ready for many more years of use.

Stylish and protective

The Unbegun iPad sleeve features a protective layer of recycled foam and is lined with a soft fabric made from recycled PET bottles.

Designed for your iPad

From the compact iPad Mini to the 13-inch iPad Pro – the Unbegun iPad sleeve comes in the right size. And in plenty of colors.

Curious how we do it?

The iPad sleeve is proudly hand-made and entirely locally sourced. The residual materials are cut to size using patterns. If necessary, they are still washed and redone by hand. One of Unbegun's seamstresses is Maartje. The former theater costume designer has been making bags for Unbegun for over 10 years.
